What:Park after Dark~Celebrate Day of the Dead. This year’s exhibit is Día de lost Muertos, a look at the art inspired by the customs of this distinctive family-centered borderlands tradition. Meet the artists from Día de los Muertos and Art Journaling, chat with local wildlife experts and make a connection with their bats, bugs, snakes and owls. There will be performances for the young and the young-at- heart including the fiesta sound of mariachis Luz de Luna and performances “Rumpelpigskin,” an original pantomime by the Desert Players. And before the evening is over, take time for “dinner on the go” catered by the Tea Room (fee), delicious ice cream courtesy of Blue Bell Creameries, snacks from Trader Joe’s or simply enjoy the desert night!

What:Marana Hip Hop Show Dance crews and schools from all over the state will perform. Proceeds will help send the Marana High School Dance Team to compete in national championships. Enjoy a night of fun and dance and support our State Champs!

What:Halloween Howl-Candlelight ghost tour and haunted hayride. Jumping castles, maze, pony rides, petting zoo and food. What:Shrek- The Musical.In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogre – not a handsome prince – shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who won’t shut up, a villain with a SHORT temper, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand… and his name is Shrek.

What: Teen Monster Mash free fun and food. We will have open gaming, a spooky movie, tasty treats and a monstrous pumpkin craft. What:Sam and Latch's Hairy Halloween This action- packed show  is suitable for all ages, though the show contains loud noises and some scary moments which may frighten small children. "Quirky deputies, Sam and Latch, take on more than they can handle when a terrifying Wolf-man stops in town for a quick snack.
When:every night in October at 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. and an additional show at 9:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays

 What: Pima Air and Space Museum Young Kids Program For children 4-7 years of age and older bring an adult to experience  it. With hands on activities you can build your own experiments that you can take home. Our rocket experts will lead you through the laws of energy and motion and show you how they are used in the flight of rockets, the world around us, and much more.. Go HERE reservations are required.

What: Lowe's Build and Grow clinic-Monster Truck for Halloween Children get to make a cute wooden project and if this is your first time there get a free apron and goggles for each participating child.  Plus after each project child will receive a completion certificate and badge! What:Fall Art Fest Art instructor, Marcos Cardenas will be teaching families how to make miniature scarecrows and festive holiday art with sponge painting. There will also be plenty of pumpkins for sale and live music to enjoy. BICAS will be displaying bike art and providing instruction on how create your own art out of recycled bike parts.

What:Pink Zumba Party~charity event”, The Chispa Foundation Presents Believe in Pink Zumba Party, to benefit the American Cancer Society!
The event is open to the public and you don’t have to have previous ZUMBA® fitness experience to participate. Over 20 certified ZUMBA® Instructors will take turns leading the party on top of the stage, with DJ’s spinning while surrounded by flashing, colorful lights. Participants are encouraged to dress in PINK. Raffles, Door prizes and information tables from several fitness facilities who are hosting the event will also be included. What: Buckelew Farm tractor-drawn wagon rides to and from the pumpkin patch. The tractor will pull your wagon into the field where you can search for the perfect pumpkin ($0.45/lb).  Additional festivities of the day include the challenge of our 11-acre corn maze, browsing through the arts & crafts tent, festival games, feeding the animals at the 4-H petting zoo and the pedal cart race track. There is  a wide variety of food items including hamburgers, corn on-the-cob, Indian Fry Bread and homemade pumpkin pie. What:Hansel and Gretel Play Everyone knows this fairy tale gets pretty creepy.  Luckily, our version is insanely un-scary.  Unless you're scared of laughing... in which case you would most likely find the play upsetting.  This interactive and wacky play is free and a great way to get into the Halloween spirit!

What:Halloween at the Mini-Time Machine The museum will be decorated for Halloween during the month of October. Each Saturday in October, join us for a storyteller at 11am, our Kids Create Family Fun Program from 12pm-4pm and a flashlight tour of the “haunted” miniatures in our collection from 4pm- 5pm.
